Sony Camera Driver Not Recognized After Installing SP2

I downloaded windows sp2 for windows xp home edition and now windows won't
recognize the drivers for the camera. i just downloaded the drvier that is
available on the Sony support page, and it won't recognize it either. I used
to jut plug it into the USB drive and it worked with no problem, now I get
nothing. The same goes for my laptop as well. I have a Sony DSC-F505V. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

I also want to point out that I have not downloaded Real Player at all. I
don't like Real Player and have never used it. Thanks

Did you ever get an answer for this one?
I have the exact same problem.

Installed SP2 and Camera no longer recognized.
Cannot bring up add device in scanners and cameras. Click on it, it
displays hourglass for couple seconds... then nothing.
