some emails html and attachments displayed as ASCII

Hi, I'm running Outlook 2003 SP3 on Vista. Certain important emails, where I
am one of many recipients, emails/attachments and also some read receipts the
html are stripped out and the message is displayed as ASCII.

The same email appear fine on my handheld device. I can't see any firewall
or spam settings on my pc.

Any ideas how to correct this on my pc.

You're likely to get more help with Outlook if you ask in one of the
newsgroups meant for Outlook, such as:

microsoft.public.outlook.general
microsoft.public.outlook

Include which version of Outlook you are using and that you are
using it under Vista, in case it matters.
