Software counterfeiting?

G

Guest

I am suddenly being brought to my attention in the task bar "You may be a
victim of software counterfeiting", when I click on it it takes me to a page
that says something about the License not being validated? Can anyone help me
to know why this is doing this and how to get rid of it? This is not a new
computer, I've had it about 7 months and it has never said this before.

Please help!

Where did your version of Windows (or Office?) come from?

It came preloaded with my computer.

Check out the link. If this is a pre-installed OEM version of Windows, you
might contact the people you bought it from. I'm not 100% sure but I believe
it applies to all MS products.
