Soft by Name Function for Favorites

In my favorites list I have six folders sitting directly
underneath the main favorites menu (no nested folders) and
each of those folders contains a number of URL's. Each of
the folders should be arranged alphabetically, and I have
used the 'sort by name' function to ensure that this
setting is enabled. As well, within each specific folder
the URL's should be arranged alphabetically again using
the 'sort by name' function.

However, the URL's in just ONE of these folders keeps
reverting back to sorting by the 'order of which the URL's
were added'. It generally reverts every time I logoff,
for some reason this particular favourites folder is not
remembering the setting that I try to assign it.

Any ideas why IE is doing this and how to correct it?

If you have more than around 190 favorites in that folder the sorting won't
work.

I run IE6.0 and can't find the "sort favorites" option. where is it?

Open Favorites from the menu item, not the toolbar icon. Then right click
any of them and choose Sort by Name.
