sm bus controller problem

Can someone help me with this error. I tried the Intel
cpipset utility and it did not help.


SM Bus Controller error code
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24D3&SUBSYS_01551028&REV_02
\3&172E68DD&0&FB The drivers for this device are
not installed.

I have the EXACT same issue...I have tried and tried to

solve this but to no avail. Weird considering I haven't
any Intel hardware in my Compaq...well not that is showing
anyway.
