I don't know what is causing it, but after I wiped the hard drive with the virus, a few months later, when any user logs on, the laptop takes about 5 minutes to start responding. Scanned for viruses, NOTHING!!!!! :(
I don't want to have to wipe the drive again.
Any suggestions?

Fixed. The blaster worm was hiding in the laptop and DESTROYED it in the end and we lost all our documents which weren't saved on our server. I reinstalled XP home then reinstalled XP Pro.
I had to wipe the hard drive :( :( :( :( :(
MCafee are really rubbish> Thy couldn't even find the blaster worm. How pathetic. Even with all updates! How pathetic. How pathetic. How pathetic.
