SLOW SLOW Log on to win 2k server from Win XP Pro

It takes a least 6 minutes to log onto my Win 2k server
from an XP Pro client. The user on the client has an
account in active directory and has a roaming profile -.
When I log on to the admin account on the local XP pc -
it takes seconds.. Any Ideas

Make sure the XP client is configured to use the DNS server that contains
the AD records for the domain and not an ISP DNS server.
