Cannot Connect Win 2K Pro to Win XP Pro

Connected Win 2K to Win XP systems via crossover.. XP can view 2K C: drive,
cannot view XP from 2K.. Both are NTFS, Ping works OK both ways.. Tried
everything am missing something but can't figure why it don't work.. Getting
message from the 2K side -- \\XXXX is not accessable. Access is denied..
Working on this 3 days, thannks for any help you can offer..
