Hi
Im having a problem with my web browser(IE 6.0). Its
taking longer than normal to load web pages. I have
telstra broadband, but the problem is not with telstra
since they conducted a speed check and also when I
download a file it goes at normal speed. Its the web
pages which are taking too long to load. Any help will be
appreciated.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Thanks, this solved a problem that I was also having with a very slow
broswer since I updated Nortin IS/AV on Friday night and downloaded a new
redirector. By disabling this function what does it actually affect.?
