Slide Layout pane

For some unknown reason the slide layout pane on the right which appears
when you choose New Slide is blank ... no "previews". The mouseover text is
there for *some* of the layouts, but not the ones I want (eg, Blank slide).

The Colour Schemes are showing OK, as are the Animation options. It's just
the Slide Layout. They were there the last time I worked on this
presentation. I've tried starting a new presentation, but the pane is still
blank.

I'm using Office 2000 with Win XP.

Any help gratefully received.

Have you any addins? - disable them in tools menu
Try srating PPT with the control key down and see if that helps
Have you installed all updates?

Thanks for your reply. I don't have any add-ins, I did try starting PPT in
safe mode, and I'm up to date with available updates.

I guess I'll have to re-install (
