siae3123.exe - No Disk

Hi,

About a week ago, I started getting the following pop-up
after starting windows XP.

"siae3123.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive.
Please insert a disk into drive: \Device\Harddisk1\DR3."

This usually seems to happen when my HP 2510 printer is
on prior to booting, but I am not 100% sure that this
needs to be the case for this error to come up.

It is most annoying.

Any on how to get rid of this error message would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jim

I don't think this has anything to do with your printer. The file may be
related to spyware, so do the normal troubleshooting by 1) scanning
with a current antivirus using updated definitions; removing any
spyware with Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) and Spybot S&D
(www.safer-networking.org) - be sure to update those programs before
running. Run your scans in Safe Mode.

Additionally, I found this by using Google, and it might be helpful to
you:

I would still do all the scanning first.
