No disk in drive error message

Does anyone know the answer to removing this annoying error messag
which is now manifesting itself on my PC please?

"there is no disk in the drive. please insert a disk into
drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR3

Usually you see the name of the process which causes this
in the titlebar of the messagebox.

Otherwise get MS ProcessExplorer:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/ProcessExplorer.mspx
and use the window search tool to determine which process it is (drag
the bull's eye symbol over the error message box).

So far I've seen this error messge under Windows 2000 only when
a program tries to access an flash card reader without a media
present.
