"Show Desktop" Icon Now On Desktop

I have no idea what I did, but the "show desktop" icon is now actually ON the
desktop and a shortcut is in the quicklaunch bar.

I followed instructions from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q190355/ and
successfully move the ShowDesktop.scf file to the QuickLaunch folder but it
has the "unknown" icon and will not work (the file shows up with the
"unknown" icon on my desktop, in the QuickLaunch toolbar and in the
QuickLaunch file).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a little thing, but not being
able to fix it is really starting to annoy me.

Thanks in advance!

I tried that but while a "blank" icon appeared momentarily in the quicklaunch
area, it disappeared and I can't find it.

Any other advice/suggestions?
