Hi,
On my old computer which is lack of enough physical memory to run
fast, sometimes but not always, while i'm typing URLs on address bar
using address bar to look recent URLs, i get a shell32.dll based error
and IE gots closed due to error on my XP SP2 machine.

My Hijackthis and virus logs were clean.

Kind of error is caused:
Error application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, module
shell32.dll, version 6.0.2900.2180, error address 0x0004ef27. etc...
in event viewer.

Any ideas?

I got no help with your sentence.

Translation: If the machine were fully patched at Windows Update,
shell32.dll would not be v6.0.2900.2180.

I haven't seen that problem on many machines which are without Windows
Update. Windows Updates are not good always.

Nevertheless, the fact that the machine isn't fully patched at Windows
Update means that the machine remains subject to all sorts of
vulnerabilities, any of which may be the cause of your problem.
My Hijackthis and virus logs were clean.
