shell32.dll error in IE6

I am attempting to troubleshoot an error in my sisters PC. I am only in
contact using MSN messenger.

The error appears every time IE6 is started (running on Win2K).

The error gives the following information:

AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: shell32.dll
ModVer: 5.0.3900.6922
Offset: 0001e131

The antivirus is up-to-date and the PC has been checked for Spyware. I have
attempted to update IE6 (to the same version) but the error still reoccurs.

Any ideas ?
