iexplore error in shell32.dll

Hi all,
I cannot open internet explorer. Reports error:
AppName: iexplore,exe
AppVer. 6.0.2800.1106
ModName Shell32.dll
ModVer. 5.50.4134.100
Offset 00002006

And the OS is ME.

Then I try to close the error window and can't. I need to
go to control-alt-del to close the application.

I have recently installed pest patrol, spyboy and Stinger.
Pest patrol detected 402 'pests' and I deleted all. Could
Ihave deleted something I shouldn't have?

Try...
1. Delete the History and TIF Folders. See:

2. If PestPatrol has a backup or restore feature, you might try putting the
removed files back.
3. Some additional possibilities at:

4. Work through steps 1-6 at http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm then post a
HijackThis log to the forum at http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30
