The shared folder is missing in Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents.
I have gone into the security setting for the documents folder, and it will
not change to shared, it will not let me rename it, it will not change in any
way. I cannot delete and replace it. No folder on my computer will allow
itself to be shared; an error message comes up saying that this \Docments
file is not accessible.
The only change that has occurred to my computer recently -- and I don't
know if this is pertinent -- is that during a failure of my wireless
connectivity I seem to have switched from a simple wireless connection into a
gateway. I have had no luck getting rid of this. However, I wonder if the
gateway status is what is preventing file sharing.
