SFX corrupt message when installing downloaded program?

I have downloaded a GPS simulator program from www.garmin.com.

When I go to run the downloaded GARMIN430.EXE program, I get the message:
"An error prevents the prgram from continuing. Could not read SFX info. It's
likely corrupt."

What does this mean? How can I resolve?

The file might be corrupt, try downloading it again.

Thanks John. I tried downloading the file again. Made no difference.
