When i run this scan ask for xp disc which is ok because i've reaf info how
to install i386 files which i haven't done.
my question is when the scan is running with the disc in it,it ask for a
dill flle or dill file missing, well if its not on xp disc then where the
hell is it or what dill does it need it doesn't say anything>

If you have an early version winxp disk, and your system is updated to eg
sp2, you need to create a slipstreamed winxp cd containing sp2, and use this
cd

Not correct.
As long as the original installation disk is used, SFC should find the
necessary files.
The necessary changed files are in a file called"ServicePackFiles".

One source of problems is when some delete ServicePackFiles to save
space with the mistaken belief it is not needed.
