Setup Initialization Error

I have bought this USB Networking Cable:
http://www.usb-network.com/ and downloaded this driver ("Disk 2
Drivers" for
XP) (1 MB):
http://www.usb-network.com/USB_Network_Link_Drivers_disk2.zip

Hi

When I click the setup.exe I get the following error message:

Setup Initialization Error
setup is unable to find _SETUP.DLL, which is needed to complete the
installation.
Error 103

However the _setup.dll is in the same installation folder as the
setup.exe itself. Instead of installing from my hard disk I tried to
install from disk, from CD and from USB all of them on different
systems (Windows XP Pro SP 3 - no success.

How can I install my USB networking cable?

Run disk clean up on your Drive.
You can download this tool o run clean up:
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim
Run this command:
sfc /scannow

Windows Installer 3.1 v2 (3.1.4000.2435) is available

on several machines.

Hi Walt,
Did you use an Admin Account?
What the Regional Settings of these machine, is it set correct?
Your issue indicate a bad installer or a corrupt/incompatible driver!

Yes, on all tested computers

Your issue indicate a bad installer or a corrupt/incompatible

As the same error happens on 4 different computers (2 wilth XP Pro
and 2 with XP H ome) I do not th ink it has to do with the
configuration of the machine, but rahter with the file setup.exe.

Did you do a test with this file?
