Setup Add Componets Help

I posted this at noon today with not response. Hopefully
someone can help me.

When I try to click on the 'Add/remove Windows Componets'
I get an error that says 'Setup was unable to open
information file fxsocm.inf.' I get the same thing if I
try this from the XP disk. Do I have to reinstall XP?

Don't know if this will help.

fxsocm.inf = [This file is the inf that drives the fax setup
during the GUI portion of Windows Setup]

It should be located @ C:\WINDOWS\inf
Mines 50 KB in size.

Post back with what you find.

OK, here's what I did. I found the file in the INF
directory and it looked fine, but same error. Then I
copied it from the I386 directory to the INF directory
and it allowed me to open the add/remove componets.
There is no fax installed on this mcahine, so I hope it
causes no problems, but I would be wary if a fax was
installed.
