setting up of 10 seconds to open email

Hi

Can anybody tell me, whether setting up of 10 seconds time
to open the email when arrived(with or without
attachment) in Inbox of Outlook express helps to save the
virus threat? as within this 10 seconds the message can
just be viewed, and deleted immidiately, if it is
suspicious without waiting to 'envelop' to open and mark
as read.

Does this helps in avoiding further consiquences that
might occur if the email is opened?

No, it's just an envelope changing after x seconds. Note that in both
Outlook and Outlook Express automatic execution of attachments is not
possible so you are always save to open the message.
