Setting default paper size

Guest

I have reinstalled XP and find every programme thinks I am using letter size paper. All my printers (HP2300 & Epsom colour) have been set to A4 in control panel etc. and where applicable I have set up progs to A4, but whenever a program exports something or produces a new document it thinks it is letter size again
Please help - I keep forgetting and wasting large amounts of time and paper

Try this: right-click the printer in the printer folder, click printing preferences.
This will sometimes work to set the defaults. It may have something to with your
regional settings.
