set up mail ? error message can't find server

Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E



I can't send or receive anything and get these messages. My ISP is
bellsouth

Check bellsouth web page to get correct settings; don't believe it uses port
25

Mike, unless you know for certain what the problem is, please
don't confuse the OP with random guesses. Bellsouth does
use port 25.

You only submitted a send error message, so I'll address that part.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
For the outgoing (SMTP) server change bellsouth.net to mail.bellsouth.net.
