Service pack 4 problem

I installed service pack 4 on my windows 2000 machine and
now I keep geting an error message everytime I try to use
disk management, under computer managment. it says "failed
connection to logical disk manager service" I've tried
everything to fix this but have had no luck!! If someone
can please tell me how to correct this!

I have expericened simlar problem. The only way i can
think to sort it out is to wait for the new service pack
other wise. Exterme force by 'wipeing' your computer o re-
intall W2K again

YES IT IS !!!

I have checked all related services and I have even tried
running it from a command line! N.G.
