server errors

Hi, I'm trying to fix my grandmother's e-mail. She keeps getting the
following error message: The host 'smtp.bellsouth.net' could not be found.
Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'Re: Welcome to Windows Mail', Account: '(e-mail address removed)',
Server: 'smtp.bellsouth.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

and

The connection to the server has failed. Account: '(e-mail address removed)',
Server: 'pop.bellsouth.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 993, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I'm assuming this means that her server is incorrect but I have tried a
couple of options that have failed. I was wondering if you could help me at
all. If she's a bellsouth user, under At&t, what would her server code be?
