Sent Messages are auto deleting??

I have changed the properties on the sent folder to :
"do not auto archive".
My sent messages still disappear after a day or two.
Any thoughts on how to stop this??

No I do not have any add ins and do not sync to a pda.

If you start Outlook in safe mode, does it make a difference?
