Forwarded messages get copied to my inbox (never used to) why?

Recently when I forward messages I get a copy of the message in my inbox as
if my address was included as a recipient. I do auto save all sent messages
in the Sent folder but this behavior is new. I am not sure what to check to
stop this, it is like I am copying myself on the message. Thanks.

From the OUTLOOK perspective: there is a setting that can be set to
save the sent item into the same folder as the original item. If the Inbox
holds the original item, even though it is the inbox, and you have multiple
email accounts, this may be the issue.

- Open Outlook
- Select TOOLS menu
- Select OPTIONS
- On the "Preferences" tab Click the E-MAIL OPTIONS... button.
First make sure the check mark is on next to:
"Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" (If this is your
intention, if not continue to the next step).

- Click the "ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS..." button

Turn on (or off, depending on your answer to the above) the check
mark in the box next to: "In folders other than the inbox, save replies
with original message".

- Click the OK button
- Click the OK button
- Click the OK button

Did this help?

Thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. I
do "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" and always have and it
still works but recently I also get a copy in my inbox like a new, unread
message just like I cc myself nut I did not.

What ISP do you use? Do you use Exchange?

This fixed the issue, so it is a gmail problem! I also have an Comcast
account in my Outlook 2007 and sending from it I do not have this issue. Is
google aware of this?
Thank you all.
