SendTo Problems with Windows Mail

When I double click an email adress in a message, I expect to see a new
message be created to the email address clicked. What I get instead is an
error message of the form:

mailto:[email protected]
Application not found

What's up? Windows Mail says it's the default mail handler, but Vista
doesn't seem to know that.

TIA,

To correct this problem, go to Default Programs, which you
can reach either from the Start menu or the Control Panel,
then click the first item: "Set your default programs."
After a few seconds a list of programs comes up.
Click on Windows Mail. If all is well, it will respond
"This program has all its defaults."
If it reports less than all (3) of its defaults, fix it by selecting
one of the options indicated by green arrows.
