sending multiple mails or mails with attachments - seems to hang..

mail seems to hang i stays in outbox 2007 for ever with description showing
preparing to send and receive or when sending multiple mails for example
after sending 30 mails nothing else happens ie shows 30 of 300 mails sent
then no activity

OR i receive connection to server lost (however i can still do internet
browsing etc)

essentially whenever i try to send a large email but not so large perhaps
500kb the mail tends to hang in my outbox (outlook 2007) then all mails cant
be sent, i then need to switch of pc load again and perhaps it will then work.

Note there is NO issue with incoming email

the problem is not just with large emails but if i have say 400 mails in my
outbox that i want to send - about 30 are sent then again it seems to hang in
my outbox, then i switch off and on and then another 30 can be sent ?

please do advise asap as this is a HUGE issue for me and i need to get this
resolved asap.

note i do tick outgoing mail requires authentication as standard.

i have also tried turning off fire walls and anti virus - still no luck -
and i have tried opening outlook in safe mode

I don't think Outlook is suited for this sort of mass mailing. Please try
our email scheduler (http://www.lbetoolbox.com/scheduleemail.htm) which will
allow you to send multiple individual emails, html or plain text, with
attachments, either as a one-off or regularly at a specified time and
interval. The recipients list can be drawn from your Outlook Contacts, a
plain text file,database or spreadsheet.
