Sender automatically added to personal address book

G

Guest

When I receive an e-mail, often the address of the person sending the e-mail
to me will end up in my personal address book. I am using Outlook 2003.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Clarify your post. Outlook 2003 does not use a personal address book, and no
version of Outlook has for years. No version of Outlook is capable of adding
senders automatically.
State more clearly what you are seeing. Include all add-ins and viruses that
are running on your partition.

Thanks for your response. You are correct, I meant to say that they were
being added to my contacts, not personal address book.

You failed to post the evidence that Outlook is automatically adding senders
to your Contacts Folder. No version of Outlook has ever done this, nor is it
capable of doing so.

Russ,

I'm not sure what evidence I can post that Outlook is doing this. My
contacts folder will be empty, then at some point in time, people who email
me get added to my Contacts Folder. I guess if Outlook is not capable of
doing this, then I must be imagining it. :)
