Send/Recieve Group Error

I cannot edit or create a new Group for Send/Recieve. I
get a simple error:
"The operation failed"
any suggestions.
It's Outlook 2002- I try Tools, Send/Recieve
Settings,Define Send/Recieve Groups.
Then I try both Edit and New and get the same Error
the program will not let me create a new profile

Have tried it with a clean profile? Recreate (not copy) your profile in
Control Panel-> Mail and see if it works now.

If it doesn't work try Help-> Detect and Repair.

Yeah, no need to delete one just create it with a different name (don't use
copy)
