Well it looks like I can post NEW questions, but trying to post a REPLY to
update a question I already posted, no can do. When I click reply I get the
pop up window, and it never loads. So I am posting again.

No changes to Outlook in the last month. No downloads, no updates.

When I Send/Recieve I get this error: (which I realy wish Outlook would let
you copy/paste)

Task '(censored)@cox.net - Recieveing' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue
to recieve this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP). The server responded:

Um..., so I called my ISP. They had me send/recieve a test mail. Sure
enough, Outlook downloaded one of the old messages I was missing, but out of
20 messages it should have downloaded, that was the only one. It downloaded
an messsage older than the test message, but not the test message itself. And
it had been there through at least a dozen send/recieve attempts, but only
came through once.

And my ISP says this is an Outlook issue because their webmail works just
fine. I can send recieve and see dozens of emails that Outlook refuses to
download when I am in Webmail view. Outlook still gets and error though.

Help!!

Oh hey reply works again...

So a search of MS website for the error code just shows me one thing:
Outlook error codes are useless as mine seems to be more directed to server
time outs than the issue I am having.

So I fixed it, sort of... I made a new email account, with exactly the same
information as the old one... now I have a new problem:

Every single email I have stored on my ISP server, which are duplicates of
the emails i have in outlook (I refuse to use the "delete from server" option
because I need multiple Outlooks to have the same emails), is re-downloading,
resulting in double emails for every single email I have.

#1: how do i stop this duplicate email problem? (cant outlook recognize that
it has these emails already?)

and
#2 how do I sort by Unread? this would help greatly as I could just delete
all the "new" emails as old... Outlook doesnt seem to know how to show me
just the "unread" emails...

To see unread messages in any Outlook folder:
Click on View
Click on Arrange by
Click on Current View
Click on Unread Messages in this Folder

Now you should see only unread messages.
