Send / Receive not working

In Outlook 2002 I can process emails via Tools Menu Send/Receive then select
email account, but the Send/Receive button on the toolbar brings up a dialog
box
'Microsoft Outlook - Operation failed'

Also how can I set Outlook to check for emails every 30 minutes ( I can see
the setting in Outlook Express but cannot find it in Outlook 2002)

Can anyone help please

Have you tried "Tools" "Options" "Mail Setup", (there should be a check mark
beside Send Receive) then click send/receive and select the appropriate
options. ie, Include this group in send/receive (F9) should have a check
mark beside it. In the dialogue box, "All accounts" should be displayed, of
if you have more than one account and want different settings for both,
select accordingly.

Oops, I just checked, I'm running 2003 so the above might not be helpful.
But, it might give you a starting place to look while waiting for someone
with 2002 to respond.
