Secure Websites

We are having problems with users accessing secure websites through IE.

Let me give you a little background. This past weekend, we migrated from a
single Netware 6.5 server to a 2 node Windows Server 2003 R2 cluster (Yes -
we saw the light!). Previously all desktop and laptop users were local
administrators, but not any more - they are simply users as this enables us
to control more closely software installations as well as giving us the
oppurtunity to standardise the desktop itself. We also migrated their
profiles. The problem we are experiencing is as follows. Since the migration,
users have been unable to access https:// sites. They get a message about
entering secure sites, and clicking OK gives a page cannot be displayed. One
solution was to re-permission their profile, applying to all child objects,
but his only seemed to work for some people. I noticed that there were local
profiles directories on the machines that didn't work, and also local users
in some cases, so removed those, re-permissioned and tried again, but to no
avail.

I'm tearing my hair out here, as Firefox works like a charm, but rolling
that out is not an option.

We are using IE 6.0.2600.0000C0 with 128-bit encryption.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We are using IE 6.0.2600.0000CO with 128-bit encryption.

Are all of the machines fully up-to-date at Windows Update?
