Hi,
Recently I had a problem with my daughter's PC (The Second
Computer) that to fix I thought it would be best to
reinstall Win XP - Pro.
My intent was to just overwrite the existing
installation. But during the reinstall I was sent
scrambling to find my Win 98 disk because the reinstall
could not find the Win XP install (or so I thought)
The reinstall finally finished (after not being able to
find a couple of system files and drivers - I copied off
my machine), but now everytime the machine starts, it goes
to a screen asking to choose an operating system, with the
default being the new install and the second being to
original install (that doesn't work).
How do I get rid of the old installation of Win XP so this
choice does not come up?
Thanks
Bill
