Scrollbar does its own thing

This is strange. When I drag the scrollbar, it goes immediately to the
bottom of the page, and I can't get back to the top of the page until I
click on it away from the scrollbar.

If you have installed the latest patch 824145 then it's the cause.
Ms is working on a new release.
You can remove the current with the Add/Remove programs applet.
