Scroll Bars and Screen Saver Do Not Work

My wife downloaded a free screen saver from American Greetings and now the
Scroll Bars on all programs do not work and neither does the screen saver
function. In addition, the computer makes buzzing sounds at random times.
Successfully removed the offending software. Ran Norton System Works and
AntiVirus without success. Tried to use System Retore but in failed in all
check points. I think System restore will fix it if I can make it work. Any
Ideas?

It is more likely malicious ware than virus.
Download malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.org), install this software and update, if possible, then
shut down and restart in the Save mode to have malwarebytes do a complete scan.
