How do I set a personal screensaver on win 2000 pro? I have XP on my laptop
and that is easy but on my desktop I can't find the way to do it. Can I
password protect when using a personal screensaver on win 200o pro?

Seems I need to try again. I am away from my desktop (the one with WIN 2000)
for the weekend. I'll try again on Monday. Many thanks.

My 'My Pictures' folder has many subfolders and many hundreds of pictures.
How can I set a folder with 'say 2 pics' in that I can use as a screensaver.
I will need to know how to include the folder in the pick list for
screensavers.

There's no native function for that in Windows 2000

Dave, Is there a native function in XP? I am hitting so many differences
between my two machines that it may just be better to upgrade the Win 2000 to
XP.

Thanks Dave. This takes me back to an earlier question. Using 'my pictures
slideshow' how to I use just one subfolder. I do not want to dispaly all of
the pictures, but I do not want to move my pictures out (there are hundreds)
because then I lose some of the functionality that is exclusive to MyPictures
folder and its subfolders. AT least that is my understanding. Regards,
Annie Cory

Sorry,

Control Panel|Display|Screen Saver|My Picture Slide Show|Settings|Browse
then to the folder you desire to use.
