screen saver password

Hi
I'm running win2000 on gateway system which is part of a LAN in our office.
I'm trying to enable password protection on my screensaver. When I check mark
my screensaver option I do not get an option to add a password. So when I
activate my mouse or keyboard after my screensaver times out I don't get my
password screen, it just returns to my desktop. Can someone offer any help?

That's interesting as I have been experiencing it before. I remember I
fixed that by somewhat like changing video card driver to another version.
I don't know whether it works on your situation since it was happened long
long time ago, however, for Windows XP, there is a KB article talking about
"screensaver password does not work" scenario...

Screensaver uses the "same password" you log on with.
