screen has flip on side

Hi All

I am running Windows Xp and I am not sure how I did it but the screen has
completely flipped on its side. The main task bar is now down the right hand
of the screen and the icons along the bottom. It is as though the setting is
for the screen if it is resting on its side. The mouse is also complete out
of sync.

I have tried restarting in safemode but this does not work.

Any suggestions? Any help greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Rexmann

If you want the taskbar at the bottom just drag it there.

Hi both

And thanks for the replies - Daniel you were right - in the end it was Alt
Gr and the up arrow key (for anyone else having problems)

Thank you

You have rotated your screen 90deg.
there are keyboard shortcuts that do it, you have possibly hit on
your mouse movements are also rotated, they are relative to screen up, which
is now left
right click a blank area of the screen,

properties
settings
advanced

and check the tabs for the one containing your screen rotation and disable
it
you may have to actually READ the text on the tabs
