Screen goes blank

Hello,

I have been using Windows Vista for about a month, and Iam very unhappy
about it!!! The most awful thing that has happened to me is while Im doing
some work with my laptop, the screen suddenly turns black and I cannot work.
Then I have to restart my computer (laptop) by pushing down on the power
button for a couple of seconds so as to reboot. Once the computer restarts
I have to go to "safe mode" then restart again.

This is just frustrating!!!! I need help, I figure this is a software
problem some tech guys call it the "BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH".

Thanks

If the laptop was purchased with Vista installed on it, take it back for
warranty repair or replacement. If not kindly give details on the type of
laptop, hardware, software, what OS was on it, what OS you installed, etc,
etc. and maybe we can help.

PS - there is no "BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH" that I know of, and I am a tech
guy. :)
