Scattered new messages

My new incoming mail use to be at the end of my Inbox read messages , marked
as unread. Now when new messages are received they are scattered all through
my read messages making it a pain to locate/read. I have not changed
anything, either in Win. Mail, or program installations. Any help would be
appreciated.

You can sort messages by date. Just click on the "Received" column header.

By the way, it is not a good idea to let your Inbox get too full.
Either delete read messages, or move them to a 'Hold' folder, or a
permanent archive folder.

Click on the column header that you wish to sort mail by, from or to or sent
or received, you will see a faint arrow shape in the column header,
indicating sorting up or down.

Thank you Gary ,mac and chouchou. Your two suggestions worked. I am still
wondering how it got changed in the first place. But, as my Grandfather
always told me- Don't "wonder" to far, you nay end up lost. I apologize for
not answering sooner. I do woodwoking and was busy. I get disturbed when
someone ask's a question, have it answered, and does not let anyone know if
the answer worked. Would save a lot of posts about the same question. I for
one read/search answers to see if there is an answer to my problem.
