Saving Pictures a Problem

Im probably being dumb but such is life

Whenever i try and save a picture from a website the only
option i get in the 'save picture as' window is to save
as a bitmap image despite most pictures being jpeg's etc.

The drop down menu only lists bmp so i am having to save
the pictures as bmp's then change them back to jpeg's in
a photo editor which is a real pain.

Can anyone solve this problem for me please!

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
