Saving Images Problem

All of a sudden, IE and Outlook are trying to save image
files as "untitled.bmp" and refuses to acknowledge any
other file type (though I can rename it the proper file
type). This is EXCEEDINGLY annoying, and I have no idea
what causes it or how to fix it. Any ideas?

Control Panel/Internet Options/general tab, click 'delete files' under
Temporary Internet Files. This is a known issue, and clearing them should
help.

Yep. You may also want to change the following IE settings:

Internet Properties | Advanced | scroll down to "security" | check
the "Empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed"

Also...

Internet Properties | General | Temporary Internet Files (click the
"settings" button)

Under the "Check for newer versions of stored pages" check the "Every
visit to the page" box.
