saving as JPEG

I build composit photos on powerpoint which print fine in powerpoint mode but
if I save as a JPEG the file is really condensed - like 70kb and of course
if I send this file to a photo lab the quality is awful - is there away to
save in full blown JPEG mode
Thanks

Save as PNG instead to avoid the depradations of JPG compression.

And see the link Sandy supplied to learn how to get higher resolution.
