Trouble with JPEG file...

I have a slide that I'm trying to save as a jpeg. When I do this (via "save
as" and choose JPEG from the drop down menu), the file created is only about
1/4 of the slide. I've tried opening the JPEG in differerent programs to see
if I can scroll and see more of the picture, but this doesn't work... I think
the file is really just a snippet of the slide (not the entire thing).

Any ideas?

First thing to do: restart your computer, this might be just a random thing
where PPT or Windows have gotten confused and a reboot makes everything ok.

Second thing: check that you have free disk space on the disk where the
file resides. Many people - I included - have had strange proglems with
applications only to find out that the real problem was running out of disk
space. (Of course, PPT and / or Windows should warn you, but life isn't
perfect.)
