Saving a document as HTML

Guest

I would like to post the contents of some Word 2003 documents on a website.
So, as my initial test, I saved the document as filtered HTML. I was
expecting that the TOC would contain links to the portions of the document
referenced. But that was not the case.

I hope someone can tell me what I have done incorrectly.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello Pat

Have you generated the TOC in Word with the hyperlink switch? The TOC
must have a /h in its field code (or you can check the hyperlink option
in the menu when setting up the TOC as well).

You can check the field code for "TOC" in Word's offline help, for instance.
