'Save changes' prompt

Hi all, whenever I close a Word document which I have not edited or mad
any change to, I will receive the box prompt 'Do you want to save th
changes to xxx.doc?' This is annoying as I would simply want to clos
the document without any prompt.

Is there any way to remove the prompt?

Thanks. I am using Office 2002.

You'd be very, very sorry the first time you closed a document that
you had forgotten to save in the first place, or that you'd been
working on for hours without saving.
