Sage TPV Software

Hi,

This is my first thread so appologies if it's in the wrong section!

I've just bought a new PC, Compaq, and Receipt printer, Samsung Bixolon, along with a Point of Sale software, Sage TPV Plus.

The printer and software seem to be installed correctly and they are both compatible with eachother. However, when it comes to printing out a receipt from the point of sale software, nothing happens.

I have the cashbox also connected to the printer and again when I click to open the cashbox there's no response.

The Sage company can't give me any free advice - I have to sign up for a year's maintenance package for around €350 to get any help whatsoever!

I'd appreciate any advice you could give me regarding this topic.

Maybe someone can help here - but Sage accounting software is quite specialist.

All I can suggest hardware wise is uninstalling the printer drivers/software and try a re-install, and likewise the Sage software.

Have you googled to see if their are any free Sage help forums around?
